Water Damage in Fort Pierce
The tub in the bathroom at the top of the stairs overflowed and soaked the carpeting ash shown in the Before Photo. The homeowner wished to replace this tired material that now also reeked of odors. Our SERVPRO team removed and discarded the material and then proceeded to treat the exposed stairway. We dried the treads and risers along with the tack strips--to be reused with the new carpeting. We understand the need to inspect and thoroughly dry the stringers--the supports for the actual steps to guard against collapse and possible safety risks. The installation of new material can occur after we are sure the wood is dry--using moisture sensors and meters. We can provide the water damage mitigation and the build back to simplify the restoration, "Like it never even happened."
